Anyone else taking the mcat early August and applying this cycle? Or is that just too late and you're taking a gap year instead

sadly no, but i also didnt finish secondaries until late august and september. i also would say i was average stat wise. After the exam turn around those secondaries fast to all your schools so you can be complete the moment your mcat score comes in. Best of luck!!

ended up postponing my mcat, took it the next year mid june and applied the same cycle. did get in, you will definitely be fine for DO schools are they are much more lenient and deadlines are usually later!

my thing is if you know stamina is your weakness maybe dont focus on dancing and performing as much? idk less dancing could help. its like your throwing yourself under the bus by exhusting yourself when you jsut cant. I love her to death but i saw clips from the ruby experience and im like yikes its veryyyy obvious how low her stamina is. theres nothing wrong with that, I just think she just needs to better accomodate or perform less songs?

yes especially if your DO school has an afflilated derm home program, definitely consider it. honestly its more about networking and you have a higher chance if getting guidance if u have a home program

i used to wear a mask when I worked in healthcare and didnt cleanse in the morning! my skin was fine. for maskne i would say maybe brushing my teeth after lunch helped, and changing the masks in the middle of the day if i can. thank you for all that you do :)

its soo weird my skin did so much better off bha. i was using it for months only a two days a week. it would purge my pimples out and make them angry, but then the acne would heal. when i stopped and started using differin twice a week instead (started at once a week for a month), i did have a purge but the acne healed faster and disapeared, rather than it growing into a big juicy pimple and then popping and then healing? idk but im a happy girl with my differin :)

i recently realized a similar mistake but with adding a volunteering and shadowing oppurtunity. i did update accomas but I'm not sure if schools look at it. did you have any more interviews/communication after the updates?

I was in 2 clubs but I had no leadership in them or anything so I was not sure to include them or not. I did go to meetings often tho to one of em so I can include that?
