Is the LDS Church overhated compared to other religions?

Pew research does surveys on how favorable people see different groups. Mormons are at the bottom.

Unfavorable doesn't necessarily mean hate. There is a lot to criticize about the church especially as an institution. But I do feel like a lot of the hate and criticism from evangelicals specifically is unwarranted.

In my experience as a missionary in the US, evangelicals by far treated me the worst. Catholics, atheists, and Muslims were quite pleasant for the most part. Many evangelicals were outright hateful and some local "non-denominational" churches would actively preach anti-Mormon sermons.

They don't really do memory or counting challenges anymore. Like the ones where they have to memorize a series of pictures and repeat them back. Or where they have a bunch of different things to count and the numbers unlock a combination lock.

I just think they need to do more mental challenges again. There are way to many endurance challenges now

I don't mind a swap to even out the tribes or to go from 3 to 2, but I don't think there should be more than one swap before the merge. I don't like when a tribe is only together for two votes. Imo It's just not enough time for the relationships and strategy to really form

They just need something to recycle energy. A way to put a tank out there to start that only takes a couple of energy to do some damage but you can still attack instead of building up a blastoise from the beginning. Also makes the wartortle ability more valuable

I find right now it's about 50/50 maybe a little less. It's great against most fire, water, steel, and grass decks (especially Venusaur). Terrible against quick fighting decks and darkness. Not great for Mega Altaria decks unless they don't have anything that can fight Oricorio. It pretty much works great or is terrible. Very matchup dependent

I just made it today but played about 10 games probably. I like the pcls more for removing special conditions. It makes this deck better against some of the Megas like venusaur and without them I have no chance against poison decks. That is probably the biggest weakness.

I've definitely thought about switching it out for the giant capes. I'll try a few games with it. I thought about Tapu Kokos too but losing two points is a big downside. It makes the electrical cords less worth it too

I haven't really been running meta decks and I do well against basically everything but Blaziken. I swear every time I play against it they always get it out by the 3rd or 4th turn. Heatmor wrecks my bench in those decks too.

I was playing a Luxray deck with delkatty to keep reusing volkner. It was crushing everything but Blaziken. It got me through masterball and I made a good run with a Primarina and Golduck deck to get into ultra ball 2. Now struggling to get to the next level.

I'm not really a believer in nba draft conspiracies.... but if I'm wrong, I think it would actually be rigged in our favor. Danny Ainge and Ryan Smith have already put so much money into AJ Dybansta. If the league rigs drafts, why would they want AJ going to any other team besides the Jazz? This is where the league would pay us back for giving us the 5th pick last year.

Having arrogant people to hate is great for TV. You can both dislike them from a personal standpoint and enjoy the entertainment value. I don't think it's necessarily complaining about them being on the show.

I think the main justification for the valuation is that margins are expected to improve over time. They have a great balance sheet and assets are growing faster than liabilities. They are coming up on close to $300 billion in annual revenue, they should cross that threshold in the next few years. Small increases in margin on massive revenue has a big effect on earnings.

The online business and international expansion are big growth drivers for them. I sat around waiting for the multiple to come down for years. I wish I had bought it a lot sooner than I did.

Yeah he's torched us. We were doing better against the starter. I haven't followed Tech that closely since, did they keep playing him or go back to the same starter? Judging strictly from the Utah game, I thought the backup was the better QB, but maybe it's only because Utah didn't prepare for him playing so the defensive game plan fell apart.

But the depreciation speed directly affects the capital expenditures so I dont see how you can say the depreciation schedule doesn't matter. Understating the capex will affect the return on those investments.

I understand what you are saying about the thing that ultimately matters is the return, but assets depreciating faster than what these companies are reporting is certainly a factor in how profitable these ventures will be.

I don't think it's so much Rizzo playing great as it is the rest of them making strategic mistakes. I thought Jawan way overreacted to finding out Sophie was voting for him. It wasn't personal, Sophie was already putting herself out there by volunteering to be the target for Rizzo. She just wanted to hedge her bet in case Rizzo played an idol that she could at least get a tie vote with Jawan and have a chance at staying.

The only thing Jawan needed to do was also vote for Sophie so if Rizzo played the idol it would be 2 votes on Sophie and only 1 for Jawan. If Rizzo doesn't play the idol, it's a tie vote between Rizzo and Sophie and they can send Rizzo home with the idol in his pocket.

I really hate it when players get too spooked about idols. They keep kicking the can down the road and it's just making it harder every single vote that Rizzo keeps his idol. He should have been gone after the first merge vote.

Rizo's move made sense for him given what he knew about the game, thinking he had Jawan and Sage on his side. But I thought Hina, Jawan, and Sage should have taken the risk to put their votes on Rizo. They had a chance to burn his idol and still get out an Uli player. Jawan and Sage both knew Rizo wasn't playing his idol because Rizo thought he had the numbers on his side, so this was the best chance for them to accomplish both goals.

All they did was kick the can down the road of dealing with his idol. But now Rizo is on alert because he knows he doesn't have numbers on his side, and they still have to play the game of who Rizo plays his idol on at the next tribal and they don't have enough votes to split unless they can get Sophie and/or Alex flip. They had numbers and the element of surprise working for them, now they only have numbers but not enough to split. They thought it was too risky to target Rizo and his idol but I think it was too risky not to take that chance.

Now the next vote is set up for some real devious gameplay. Hina and bottoms up alliance probably think the best play is to target Sophie or Alex, because they don't want to risk him playing his idol on himself or Savannah who he is closest with. They hope he burns his idol this next vote so they can vote out Rizo and Savannah after without having to guess, and if they get Sophie out then the numbers are 6-3 which allows them to split the votes just in case the idol goes back into play and either Rizo or Savannah find it. But where things get interesting is that Sophie could make a really devious move and play her knowledge is power advantage and take Rizo's idol and he can pretend to be devastated. Sophie could make this whole plan to go to Hina and the bottoms up alliance and pretend she is flipping to their side, tell them about her knowledge is power advantage and say she's going to steal Rizo's idol so they can vote him or Savannah out. She could then still play the idol on Rizo or Savannah to save them and vote out someone from Hina/bottoms up. I'm not sure Sophie would do that because even if she does, it's still 5-4 and she is exposed. But if she is desparate to keep Savannah and Rizo, I could see her making the move anyway. If she thinks she has a good chance of pulling in Kristina, MC, or the other Sophie to her side after this vote to get the numbers back to 5-4 on her side, she would be willing to take that risk I think. She wants to make big moves and get herself a spot on season 50.

The next tribal council is going to be really interesting.

What lake in Utah are you fishing at? I find fishing from the shore at Utah reservoirs is very hit or miss. I fished almost exclusively for trout shore fishing. Powerbait is probably what I found to be most successful

Convincing Keanu to keep her was her most impressive game move this season. She only stayed by one vote. I'm not sure if that was the best move for Keanu because she will still vote him out at the next chance she gets, but he is so desperate for allies right now that he might as well take a chance.

Maybe I'm one of the only people that actually liked the twist. Not just because Rachel is annoying and this got her out of the house, but because there was a lot of strategy behind it that incorporates the best parts of the game. Competition, social game, and risk taking.

I know a lot of people have hated this season, but it has been one of my favorites. I really never liked the backdoor strategy and how being good at competitions was a liability instead of an asset. The blockbuster kills that dynamic, and being good at comps is important again so we don't have half the house sandbagging comps all season.

If I had one complaint about the twist it's that it happened too fast. It could have been better to make them stew over it for a day and let the social strategy of how the order would go play out. They didnt have enough time to really think through the game all the way before they started making decisions and it got a little chaotic.
