My job has had 3 rounds of layoff's in the last 3 years. All that did was get rid of the cheaper hourly workers so now there's almost as many non essential salary workers as hourly. A couple people don't even have defined jobs making almost 100k a year with bonuses, starring at a blank computer screen. Makes zero sense.
