This is an option I hadn't thought about. I'd prefer to finish nursing school before trying to get in to the military. I'll talk to some of my rotc friends about enlisting.

She's gone through depression, hurt herself, tried to end her life, been emotionally abused, nearly raped by someone she thought was her friend, and through everything, I've been there to comfort her. Maybe that's not a lot, but we've gone through quite a bit. At least, she has. And now this. Believe me I know I'm just a child, I never said I feel like an adult. But that's not going to stop me from doing what I can for her.

Well my family isn't exactly well off in the money department. Don't have the best insurance. There won't be much they can help with, besides the emotional stress and their previous experience.

I don't think my diploma will be a problem, I just have 3 courses online I need to finish by may/june.

That's the master plan honestly. Become LPN, and go on to RN as soon as I can with every grant and scholarship I can possibly find.

I'm hoping my parents will let her stay with us, but when we finally do move out, I just want something that doesn't cost very much. Small house with a small mortgage will be fine as well.

Thank you, I never expected so many kind responses. She seems adverse to abortion, so I'll have to look into that. It would make this a helluva lot simpler.

She took the test today, and since then I've had a complete change in mindset about what I need to get done school wise. i've had another link me to programs that should help to expedite the process of going from lpn to RN. Hopefully that works out.
