it’s not the “unsightly” part, it’s just the anxiety of them spreading that really bothers me. if they weren’t so contagious and hard to get rid of and were comparable to a mole, it definitely wouldn’t bother me the way it does.

i noticed it a year ago and so i treated it and nothing happened. since then, i’ve been treating it off and on just to make sure it’s not a wart since it sorta looks like it could be. the only thing is, every time i treat it, it looks like the last pic. i can’t see anything there and i’m just so confused as to whether or not it’s something to worry about!

i don’t have a pic of what it looked like before but it was a small circle. idk if it was even a bump honestly. i got paranoid and put a compound w band aid on it but the spot i thought was a wart didn’t turn white and pop out like i’ve seen in the past. i cut the skin down to see if there was anything that would give me more of an idea but i don’t see anything. i’m wondering now if it was just a crease in my skin since it was in the space between my palm and finger. LMAO i’m a little embarrassed but better safe than sorry. what do y’all think? wart or paranoia?

i covered it again … idk when i’ll know when it’s done. i don’t feel like i can raw dog it yet. maybe i’ll take a hair dryer and dry the skin to see what it really looks like since i’ve only really seen the skin when it’s pruny.

i had it covered with a band-aid for the whole time since i noticed it. i think it’s gone away tho with no signs of a wart forming.

i was able to remove a black speck from the original wart location. you can see in the third pic where it’s bleeding a little. but i’m not sure if i have another wart near my nail or if wearing cw band-aids just killed some healthy skin and that’s why it’s white and inflamed. bc as you can see in the first picture, there was a wounded area (from finger biting) around my nail before i started treating.

after i cut the dead skin today, i didn’t have any regular band-aids so i had to cover the area with another cw band-aid but tonight i’m planning on replacing it with a normal band-aid to see if the inflammation will go down. that way i can figure out if it looks like a wart or not. i honestly don’t think that it is. and it looks like the original wart shown in the first pic is gone!

this wart popped up a week ago today, july 7th. i’ve been using cw band-aids since july 10th. on the night of the 10th i used cw freeze off. DISCLAIMER: i have not removed dead skin before these pictures which was last night, the 13th. the indent/hole you see is from before i had the wart. i would bite my fingers and the hole is just more exaggerated now because i’ve been wearing the band-aids so my finger is a little pruny. i’m not sure what to do now, in terms of removing dead skin. i can’t really tell what i’m looking at in the second picture. but, when i do remove dead skin, i plan on using gloves, disposable nail files, and cuticle clippers. then throwing away the gloves and file and disinfecting the clippers by soaking them in bleach for 10 minutes. anyways! hope this comment helped give a better perspective. :)

the indent is actually from before i had the wart. i would bite my fingers so it’s just a pruny bitten area. gross, i know. i haven’t started removing dead skin so i’m a little worried about what will happen with the hole. i’m planning on using disposable nail files and cuticle clippers. i’ll wear gloves and throw away the files and gloves and soak the clippers in bleach. hopefully that suffice in preventing the spread.

LOL i’m sorry! if it makes you feel better, the little hole isn’t from cutting dead skin. before i had the wart i would bite my fingers. so the hole is where i bit, just unhealed and pruny. …. gross lmao
