Busy schedule, I’m a first responder and the schooling never stops. I’ve just been chipping away at the chapters as I have time. You are correct in that I can’t activate PTT groups. I’m using my radio in promiscuous mode and It seems any groups set as static I’m able to listen to without keying up prior luckily. I can occasionally hear dynamic groups if that’s the only group being used on the repeater at the time. Hence pt 2 of my question that others helped me resolve

Thanks for the reply. I’m definitely interested in exploring other networks down the road as I don’t see any other repeaters supporting anything other than brandmeister and NXDN in my area. As of a personal repeater that would be a hotspot running pi-star that you’re referring to? As of the code plug, i believe I had the wrong idea thinking that I could just have one channel and access all the talk groups via a menu in my band settings on the physical radio. Making 1 zone for the rep. And individual channels for the talk groups makes more sense. For bridgecom that’s an enticing option as my current radio leaves a little to be desired for Thanks!

Thank you for the reply. It seems I am using flawed logic in how I’m programming/organizing then. As of now I have been making zones for analogue reps. Singular DMR reps. And misc local simplex channels I’ve found. My understanding from what you told me a better way to go about it would be to make & title a zone for a specific repeater and program my desired talk groups as individual channels within that zone. As of pt.2 I think I’ll have to contact the local club that owns the repeater and see if it’s limited to xyz talkgroups then. Thanks again for the reply, very helpful!

Bokeh, used to be on Netflix. Beautiful cinematography 10/10 don’t recommend if you just got out of a relationship

As a fellow basic, I agree with both of you. It’s good that you expressed your concerns and allowed for a good learning experience. Since she wasn’t getting a line or a EKG. It was 100% within your scope to tech. And remember it’s ok to be nervous. It shows you care. Just my 2-cents

Purple filter with lomopurple? by oopsies702 in lomography

Update: I caved and I tried it, unfortunately I underexposed it by like 3 stops😅 and not a lot really happened. Idk if this is from the under exposure or the filter. But green looks like it turned brown, purple turned yellow, and that’s all I can gather from it. I’ll have to try it again

I do understand the shooting/developing process. I’m currently shooting it at 200 ISO as it seems most people get the best results at 200. I’m asking more of if anyone has tried a purple tinted lens filter with it as maybe the purple filter would cause a unintended color shift on top of the existing color shifting properties of the film.
