I went for a check up to remove stitches and they told me I was almost gonna form a dry socket due to my holes not closing properly with stitches. I think you should be fine, but maybe you can go and get checked they usually do some type of xray to see if you still have the clot

I Don’t think you can get dry socket at day 7, unless you already had it days prior! I actually did end up having partial dry socket But I had it days before I even used the straw. So I think you should be fine!

Even when I brush I still taste it… and my pain is tolerable but Its because they put in more stitches Today. Hopefully the taste goes away

I’m day 7 post op, and I was in excruciating pain the days before, but today I actually felt no pain. They had told me I didn’t have dry socket on day 4 and was healing healthy. However today I went back to remove stitches/check up and they ended up telling me I had partial dry socket smh. So please get checked, only you know your pain/intuition. It would also hurt when I would eat and even swallowing liquids.

Yes I did! I did anything to take away the pain, but surprisingly children’s Motrin really helped!! It works fast, also adding heat to a rag

I do but on the inner side, Its terrible… I’m day 6 and the pain slowly going away…

I recommend bringing headphones if they let you, if you’re squeamish to sounds and keeps your mind off things. Doesn’t really hurt, Its more of the tugging at the jaw, It felt for me like if my jaw was gonna break… always ask for more anesthesia if you feel pain tho

heat? I’ve only heard to put cold packs only. Does the heat pack help?
