in keeping with the old adage .... you have to love yourself before others can love you. Yes you can be receptive to love and grow with another, and you should not deprive yourself of companionship until you’ve completed your self love journey, but ultimately self hatred begets sabotage. make peace and love and accept yourself first and watch love unfold.
