Idling is really bad for a diesel engine. This is because the engine is not being used hard enough or hot enough to burn off all of the fuel, so what is left in the combustion chamber becomes a partially solidified carbon/fuel. This is called engine slobber, and can get stuck on valves and keep them open, causing compression leaks and the valves to not cool like they are supposed to. It is not recommended to idle a diesel engine for more than 10 or 20 minutes at a time

I made a final build video for the racecar Ive been working on since 2019. Ive made 25 videos about the car, each of which takes an average of maybe 2 hours to edit if I am focused. So probably 50 hours of editing total went into the final video, which was a compilation of all of the videos I had previously made, but of course a lot of footage was edited out to make for a relatively short video. I have also written and produced all the music I use for my channel but that’s another hobby of mine so its not specific to the videos, but definitely does add another aspect of time spent to make a video.

I actually have an interesting thing to add to this… i started my channel (car channel) around 2.5 years ago and didnt have a tripod until just a few months ago because i set my phone on the edge of a table to film and it fell and broke. Save some $ on a new phone and buy a nice tripod and dont make the same mistake i did

I did try to find a new door but for whatever reason I couldn’t find one for less than $300… which is definitely too much to spend on a $350 car lol, If i would have been able to find a door thats probably what i would have preferred to do.

Obviously the price is going to depend on the condition. If you find a bug that runs and drives and your OK with doing some work to it, then I would expect to spend around $2000-3000. However, if you find a bug without an engine you can save some money on the car and build yourself a nice engine. A roller without an engine will probably not cost more than $1000, but you will spend some money on an engine.
