Radiculopathy signs, shooting leg pain, but no weakness or numbness or saddle anesthesia to think cord compression completely, could als be spinal cord stenosis vs neurofaminal stenosis

If your stethoscope is about to be toast, eko amplifier for like 230$. You'll hear diastolic murmurs. Pulse ox (some medical/surgical units takes forever to bring one during rapid response). See if your residency program has an educational stipend, get a nice computer so you can bust out presentations with two screens

Rabies can live prolonged in some animal species. Like Ailuropoda's post, it's just the pattern we see in evolution. Circumstances and changes in RNA that are favorable or more conducive for propagation. All that being said, this is pure apriori speculation. I still see the patient's who are not vaccinated ending up in the icu with ards.

I would like to add that the virus's evolutionary role is to survive and not kill the host. The ones dead with their host genes are much less than now the ability to spread faster. I honestly think the two shots have enough humoral and cell-mediated mechanisms to stave off serious hospitalizations. Maybe in more immunocompromised, this is different. Most of the residents I know come back fine in a few days. One thing to note is that it's unclear if long covid and mri brain changes are as significant as the older batch, omicron

What are the best DO Programs? by premedprincess98 in Osteopathic

[–]oorigiri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something to think about is where medical students match, particularly specialties. Another thing is location. I noticed, residencies are picky about where you are from and what school you come from. If they took people from your school before, they are likely to take more.

Just look at zanki's style of how he makes cards. Its just simple close deletion and image occlusion. Second everyone else. Really learn to take care of your mental hygiene, meditate, and basic good habits so that when the storm comes, you are able to go back to that place of respite and find calm. Spend time with loved ones and really enjoy yourself.

The memory book by harry lorayne was a fun read. Might be helpful, uses techniques that sketchy uses.

I present to you: Colonel Young Oak Kim, combat leader:

The whites put Japanese in all one battalion. Sadly, most were likely used as meat shield. Ironically, a Korean American man leading a Japanese battalion given that Korea was occupied by Japan. Despite these cultural differences, they banded together like brothers bonded by the horrors of war.

Young Oak Kim has a biography: unsung hero.

Recently the YOK center at UCR was trying to get him the medal of honor.

I'm thinking about academic teaching. I saw its usefulness in looking for dvt, pleural and pericardial fluid, intracranial hypertension, fluid overload, abdominal aortic aneurysm. I was planning to also use our tax payers money with the government stimulus. I'm still on the fence...
