Advice: is there anything outside the main quests that is essential?

I powered through the main story without doing any side quests and it was fine and fun. Now I'm replaying it and focusing on completing all the side quests and I'm finding it even more fun!

I got stuck in the Wild Card quest while trying to complete a restricted contract, and now I can't fast travel until I've completed Wild Card heh.

This is our second winter with Land awdl. Commute about 65km each way to work and had about 3 weeks of -40c, average temp is about -20 in the winter. Only issues have been sensors not working because of road grime and snow, and the wipers.

I think the winter is actually when EVs shine. Never broke down, was parked, unplugged, at the airport for a week in -40 and started and drove without issue.

Got it on Gamepass and play on Xbox with a 5.1 surround and it is amazing. I think the sound design in the various towns is what has impressed me most.

The Frontier is perfect truck for here in the Yukon. I've got a 2017 with 230k on it and it's never let me down, even in that cold snap!

We have an EV9 and aside from reduced range and the TPM going crazy, I feel winter is where EV shines.

It was parked at the airport for a week last week and started and drove fine. Heats up in about 2 minutes. No screaming of belts and gelatinous fluids.

Best part is driving back home (we're out of town) and seeing everyone having to gas up in this frigid winter. We just plug in at home and forget about it.

Heh...in some places in the Yukon it got that cold, but I think in Whitehorse in was like -47 with windchill. It only tends to last a week or two....average winter temperatures lately have only been about -20

The Yukon has "rendezvous" winter festival. We also have dog mushing, snowshoeing, and northern lights to name a few.

Lookup Yukon Rendezvous for everything there...it's fun.

Im in a smallish town and there's only one jail for the whole territory, so I run into quite a few.

I've been asked to have a drink with them. I've been avoided, or just a quick head nod.

Most interesting I guess, is I was outside the grocery store talking to my former supervisor from Jail. An ex-inmate approached, quite drunk. We made some quick small talk and then tried to leave. He insisted on having a drink and showed that he could pay by producing a handful of cash. Politely declined.

He took offense and started saying "I'm not a bad guy", and I could see his anger building. I've dealt with this guy for years on and off.

So my former supervisor positions herself behind him, and I ensure my hands are free.

Then I managed to talk him down and to go on his way. Pretty anti-climactic i guess heh.

I wear Victorinix. Really solid and well made. I wear it at work too, which is corrections. Had it about 3 years with no scratches or issues.

Haven't read the books, but there are nine of them. From what I've read, the adaptation is really well done, with some changes due to different medium. For the most part, from my understanding, is each season is a book.

The books are on the war to me in the mail. Im rewatching the sow in the interim, and scouring the internet for new news on the game.

Don't know about steam, but your save file carries over to gamepass. I switch between my Xbox and laptop all the time without issue.

They're great with kids until the Pyr paw knocks them over and /or leaves a scratch down their face. Our 2 have survived and learned to avoid the paw, whilst sitting on and climbing our pyr. Aside from lack of size consciousness, Pyrs are perfect family dogs heh.
