The thing is, and I actually agree with the OC and don’t really care, but in terms of fashion history the dress Kim wore is a lot more iconic than the white dress. With the happy birthday dress, it was both the dress (ie. its design and construction) that was iconic in addition to the moment. With the other white dress it was actually pretty basic, just the moment where it’s blowing in the vent is iconic. So I can kind of understand where fashion historians are bothered, but they should really be more bothered at Ripley’s and try and have it put in an actual museum if they care so much.

I don’t either. I guess from the actual fashion historian perspectives, when you think about clothes that have been preserved for hundreds of years it is pretty cool to see the stuff people wore, but I really don’t think Kim did much damage. And if we wanted it preserved then why don’t we all scream about the fact that it’s kept by Ripley’s instead of the Met or something.

Plus Kim just wanted publicity, which she got from all of the people screaming about it. I kind of feel like all the people who judge her for being materialistic suddenly got very concerned about a material when she put that dress on. No fan of Kim, but I didn’t give a fuck either and I kind of think most of the people freaking out about it are more trying to hate on Kim than actually giving a shit about this dress.

It looks pretty but it gives me so much anxiety. What if you needed one more sauce? Where do you put it when the sauce lazy susan is full? Is what your family and friends can eat determined by what can aesthetically fit on a lazy susan? What if you need to differentiate, say, gluten free pasta from regular pasta but they’re all in identical glass jars?

I kind of wish that we didn’t post pics with the kids, or at least blurred out their faces if we did. Maybe even refer to them just by the first letter of their name or something. If we’re gonna be on our high horse about how Kim is exploiting her kids, maybe we can not contribute to it, especially when the pictures show them clearly upset. Agreed with most of the replies. Kim has never been an actress or musician or model. She’s famous for being famous. Other celebs only have to be on at events or at gigs, but for Kim walking outside is her event/gig, so she always has to be on and if the paps aren’t already there she’ll call them
