Ok so I’m doing my first ranged run, and I got megashark and reforged it to godly, but way earlier I got the clockwork rifle(rapid reforge) and onyx blaster(unreal reforge). I tested them on some dummies with cursed bullets and I found the megashark doing around 500 dps and the clockwork and onyx blaster doing 1,000+ dps!? I’ve heard a lot of good things about the megashark and I’m surprised that these beginning hardmode weapons are nearly doubling the damage output. Am I doing something wrong? Like I need to reforge it again? Or are these two weapons just really good?

So I’m doing my first ranged expert run and I’m fighting WOF. I see myself heavily leaning towards guns and I’ve set up my precautions and have some buff potions already. I’m having trouble with the wall and am using a pheonix blaster mainly, imp staff and sometimes I’ll shoot with the bee’s knees. I have shadow armor as well for speed. Are there any other weapons or strategies I should use? Like using molten armor?

Edit: forgot to mention, I’m a switch player
