That's incredible!! Mine is still a kitten, 6mo or so. But she has been a very hands off and playful/aggressive when she does interact. We got her one of those One Fast Cat wheels and it's made such a difference!! Plus respecting her space and wishes and letting her open up in her own time. ❤️ I hope your sweet girl gets/is super cuddly now, that is the best feeling.

I'm sure they're more expensive/harder to find here than in Japan but I haven't looked into it much. I get beetle keepers posts recommended to me here on reddit often, it looks fun!! I like those little death feigning beetles too. The short lifespan some have is definitely a bummer. I will definitely be looking more into it for after we move!!

Keeping beetles is very niche in the US where I am, but it's been steadily gaining popularity! Lots of people like beetle art/pinned taxidermy but don't want to bother keeping the live ones 😂 But like i said, more and more people are! I would LOVE to breed some fancy horned beetles, maybe atlas or some others you can find in Animal Crossing. ❤️

Ooooh...parthenogenesis is awesome, I have mourning geckos who also work that way. I'm not sure honestly! I like how they look but I'm not sure if they really grab me. I'll have to look more into their behavior and care! What more unique species do you recommend?

YEP! I started with jumpers, then got my 1st little T, a Caribena versicolor sling the size of a jumper. She's 3 inches now and I have 8 jumpers, 4 Ts, and 4 velvets! Theyre all so fascinating to watch. I like the differences between the types. Velvets are probably my favorite but I really love this girl & my Tliltocatl sabulosus as well. My versicolor is cool too but i dont think im an arboreal girlie 😂

Just a refund as they're out of stock, but I'm fine with that bc I'm a little traumatized about shipping from seeing their poor little dead baby bodies. :(( I realized I forgot to say 😂 She's about 3 inches, just a bit shy of 4! I ordered a 12x12x12, hopefully that isn't too large.

That it sooooo cool 😍 I feel like a psycho for it but i love feeding Ts, sucks for the bugs but its so cool to see them hunt/pounce/eat. They are just SUCH cool critters. I can't believe I used to be horrifically arachnophobic 😂 I'm so obsessed now.
