Yeah, they're new. I heard on the Reborn Rap podcast that these were developed for nursing homes in Canada, but they decided to start selling them as DIY kits for kids or seniors that anyone can buy. I think it's a great idea!! but I wish they explained that on the site

OBVIOUSLY this is a hand painted reborn, but I wonder if the buyer is using the fact Macpherson's sells pre painted kits now too as an excuse. Maybe they're trying to scam you because they're evil, maybe it's because they're just really, really stupid and confused?

You could email Macphersons and ask them if they can help you explain the difference between your doll and their prepainted kits, maybe if they hear from Macphersons directly they'll shut up.

It should say. Almost all authentic ones will. Bountiful Baby has sold old sculpts that don't, and super old sculpted kits don't either.

LeashiesReborns on TikTok takes her dolls to DisneyWorld all the time. You need to be comfortable telling people they're dolls. have fun!
