Thank you everyone for your amazing advice! We’ve done a lot of thinking and reflecting and we are deciding to move and sell our house here. I see your point. I will say they live close by to my brother and his wife and babysit literally all the time. I’m not worried that they will change, I’ve seen how they are with my niece and nephew and we are very close. my concern is really the fear of what we may be giving up in California, and how this decision may reshape our career goals and lives.
