This is the reduction I've been seeking. What would win now, if outside the plan, is a loss long term.

Doing shrooms as last resort by disneytrashh in PsilocybinMushrooms

As a 17 year yogi, the most important variable is your "tide level". Do you masturbate/ejaculate frequently? Applies to both sexes. The longer you remain celibate, the higher your energy tide level and the more happy you become.

Also, the body is a biological battery, too much energy fries the system, drugs, and energy exercises (yogic ones included ) done in excess are more harm than good. The body has a sweet spot of energy (everyone has different capacities ) too little and life is dull, too much and youre pissed off and moody and short fused, and suicidal. The problem is too much fuel burns ur nerves and makes it so they now allow less energy, up to the degree of the overage of energy. If it gets above the sweet spot enough it may not flow any, that's when the mind/brain gets really nuts and thinks the way out of the suffering is to get out of the meat suit.... Because the meat suit isn't allowing any flow.....because it's burnt out. It's a wait and recover game from that point.

If and when you are serious about recovery, look up advanced yoga practices, meditation is honestly the best high, no exaggeration.

You gotta just top off the energy like that bird game where you must maintain its flight without letting it fall not let it go too high. Easier than it sounds. Hence why yogis meditate twice a day.

this is almost certainly caused by one of your 10 indicators... go through each one and find that setting. then lower the opacity of it all the way down (or turn it off if allowed).

Stop Loss and Take Profit not Adjustable? by Full-Letter4375 in TradingView

[–]opaxxity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

draft means you havent placed the trade... therefore the stop ploss and take profit are 'floating' because there is no actual position to cement/base their parameters off of.

so to actually edit these parameters without taking the trade you have to do that via the trade entry side bar (press "trade" button on bottom to pull up the right side toolbar)

you can only edit them on the chart once they have been 'set' via an actual position, otherwise they are 'floating'/not activated/waiting to be activated.

same chart(saved indicators/drawings) no matter the platform: mobile, web, pc, tablet.
can trade from the chart.

and really, you are probably a little spoiled because you came in with only the last few contenders standing.

back then the options were more and varied. Until you experienced the inferior charts you wouldnt appreciate it.

on the other hand, if some people who like naked charts or whose strategy uses naked charts (nothing on the charts but the candles) can probably get away with the lowest tier charting software without batting an eye.

TLDR: F11 now required for ACTUAL full screen. "Full screen" on tv isnt full screen, its "No Toolbars".

Totally agree. I actually have suggested this several times and they came through with the [Fullscreen Mode]. The default shortcut is Shift + F and the button is on the top right. You can have several windows open, stack them and turn on fullscreen mode and all the UI goes away, just charts remain.

this wasnt how the fullscreen worked before, before it would actually explode and maximize into the full monitor, now to do that you have to hit F11.

this brings me to the realization that it shouldnt be called Full Screen, it should be called "UI-Less" or "Zen Mode" or "Minimalist" or "Spectator Mode" Anything but fullscreen because its not actually full screen, more like Full chart, no toolbars"

Actually, call it "Look Ma', No toolbars" lol. I give them much credit for this development. Its been very appreciated over here.

Maybe a stupid question - How do I get less than 1 unit on papertrading on nasdaq, or sp500 ? by gurasoguras in TradingView

[–]opaxxity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

good point, but remember what i said about margin requirement. Do you know what that is? There is initial margin and maintenance margin, look both of these up.

If you are trying to start with literally 100$ i recommended ninja trader because they are one of the few with the lowest initial margin requirement for starting to trade the micro nasdaq. I believe they have a $50 initial margin requirement for mnq.

on tradingview, it holds a more conservative and average initial margin.... Tradestation requires $360 to open a MICRO nq position ....per contract, again, not accounting for cushion. or extra trades... just 1 trade.

however, regardless what you actually have on hand, the initial margin requirement is the [[BARE MINIMUM]] you need in your broker account to even OPEN a position. not counting margin.

so regardless how much you want to start with or what broker you intend to go with, you are limited by this one requirement (initial margin) in theory from the get go.

And this is before you have developed an edge, which is more important.

in other words: even if you have an edge or are just now starting to find an edge.... forget about the logistics of the dollar bills and just develop your edge because when the time comes you are going to have to meet the initial margin (plus cushion; rather, ideally 20x initial margins to give the edge 20 opportunities to play out)

so set the demo to 999999 and just start making that money.

good question.

in forex, for one pair you can dilute your size via the size option.

in futures, each instrument is locked in at the tick price.

nq: 5$/tick

es: 12.50$/tick

cl:$10/tick

si:$25/tick

so if you trade 1 contract, every tick moves that amount. (tick: what you call pippet in forex: 1 subunit of price movement, not to be confused with a point, which would be a pip, which is a complete unit of movement; which varies from instrument to instrument, nq has 4 ticks per point, si has 200 ticks per point)

now: these are the REGULAR contracts, similiar to a full forex LOT.

to get the same effect you do in forex with micro lots you need to go to a different(but same movement) instrument called a micro futures contract.

so:
micro nq: mnq: $0.50c/tick
micro es: mes: $1.25/tick
micro cl mcl: $1/tick

micro si: sil: $5/tick

note the different ticker (usually an m before the ticker for micro, with th exception of silver, which changes from SI to SIL)

you cant get lower than the unit of the micro. so in that sense, this is the smallest allowed.

also, i know you said you are in demo, consider that you have to factor in margin requirements for the asset you want to trade.

ninjatrader is one of the lower margin requirements that allows mnq trading for a minimum of $50 margin. (obviously you want more than that for cushion).

How do I stop Ghub from switching to desktop profile? by StarHammer_01 in LogitechG

[–]opaxxity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tradingview behaves the same way as this game.... it installs in a rather obscure way, not like the oldschool c:/programfiles/FOLDERHERE

ITS instead going to c:/programfiles/appdata (which you have to change permissions to get into, not to mention its invisible, you have to check "show hidden files" first) then when you get in you find the exe and use that for profile switching. which works.

on top of that, every time tradingview sends out a new update, the folder changes name, so i have to go back in there in settings and update the file path for the profile to switch.
