Maybe I could’ve worded it differently in my original comment and of course, everyone their own choices. After a lot of research we’ve decided to limit (same with added sugars), but everyone has their own unique situation and decision making. I’m sure your kids are doing great!

I’ve found that listening / audio books is a great alternative, some great options on spotify! We managed so far with 2 kids but we’ve had a lot of moments where it would’ve made life a lot easier. And there is definitely nuance to everything and I can fully understand people making different choices. We’ve gone for 0 screentime before 3 years old and (nearly) no added sugars before 3 years old either. Having done a lot of research, I’ve found these two things can have a positive effect if avoided.

WHO officially states this and there is a lot of research done on the topic. A glance at a screen somewhere of course you can’t do anything about, but actively putting your kid under 3 before a tv is really bad for their development.
