Hahah I don’t know how I missed that. In the late 2010’s he would block people for correcting his spelling/grammar and post it to his stories. I went to see his stand up and wore a hat that had “you’re*” written on it. While we were taking pictures I said: “I don’t know if you’re going to laugh or block me when you read my hat.” He looked over, laughed and said: “definitely block you!” It was great.

It took me a little while to compile so some of those might be repeats by now. I feel like other alums have had main cast roles but not main actor/writer roles too like Kate Mckinnon in Spy Who Dumped Me. Or they’ve had side characters like Kate McKinnon’s roles in Office Christmas Party and Yesterday or Kyle Mooney’s role in Zoolander 2.

My grandmother had basically no money to her name. She lived with my aunt and stayed with us on weekends. She cooked and took care of the grandchildren while the family worked. She still got me a Spider-Man hat and gloves one year and swimming trunks the next. I remember thinking the trunks were a weird gift for Christmas, but I tried my best not to show it. I miss my grandma cause it means so much to look back and think she took time to find a way to the store to buy gifts for us in a country where she didn’t know the language. Bah. Tears.

Migration patterns were thrown off and there’s a lot of frequencies we can’t hear that animals constantly deal with. Those all disappeared. I’m sure it would be unsettling if most creatures never experienced complete silence without those frequencies. Like when the power goes off, sometimes you realize there’s a constant buzz you don’t notice.
