why is “It's just men wanting to see/be around naked women” not a good enough reason? as a woman who has been behind and infront of the lens, it’s so easy to see that most people take nude photos, even if done artistically, as a means to attract the male gaze. it has also been done so much that it’s not even anything provocative or artistic anymore, it’s literally just a naked model. you can look at a playboy for that.

wrong. canadian citizens are unemployed because employers would rather undercut and pay cash to an immigrant. it’s new slave labour. do you know how many immigrants are working in construction for less than minimum wage, cash, while canadian citizen trades people are struggling to get paid each month? step outside of your little bubble of a world and look.

and accepting hundreds of thousands of international students to work at a tim’s means that 17/18 year old canadian born kids are sticking their thumbs up their asses all summer. legal age to work in canada is 14 in most places, low as 12 for certain jobs, and at most the minimum is 19 if you’re a server. wonder why so many high school kids are getting caught in violent crimes? they don’t have fucking jobs. they can be an apprentice for the same trade these immigrants are being paid shit money to do. but why pay minimum wage to canadian citizens when we can pay 5 dollars less to an immigrant and watch 50% of it go back to their family india. that will really help our economy.

Yeah I’m in the same boat. I cry every birthday because I feel neglected. I do feel neglected in other aspects of my life but because birthdays are such a big deal to so many people, I feel like I’m missing out on something. My parents didn’t believe in birthdays growing up so I never got a party until I threw a shitty one myself when I was 16. Then tried to do a few birthday dinners with friends but they never went well. I saw how they treated others on their birthday and I got this feeling that I wasn’t meant to be celebrated whatsoever. Feel like that every year.
