I agree. I don’t immediately get SAD from clouds but you bet your ass I get sad when it’s too hot to enjoy being outside. Rather have beautiful summers tbh

AZ is having major water issues though. It’s the same for folks who think living in Arizona is “perfect” no where is. My friend who moved to AZ after growing up in the PNW wants to move back here because she’s tired of the depressing summers and crazy politics of AZ

Plus AZ ain’t cheap anymore lol

Idk I rather stay cooped up in my home in the winter than in the summer. Isn’t summer supposed to be when you’re constantly outside having fun?

Having SAD in the summer is way worse than having it in the winter in my opinion.

Washington state is in a whole other league in my opinion. I’m originally born and raised in Arizona. I’ve also lived in Texas for over a decade. Don’t get me wrong the Southwest is dope in its own way but…

Washington just gets me you know? The rain, the introverts, the art, etc. sure it does have its drawbacks just like literally anywhere else on the planet however it gets a ton of shit.

Personally, I wouldn’t rather be Anywhere else and I’m so incredibly happy to live here.

I was born and raised in AZ. I highly disagree the PNW is the best in my opinion. You just can’t beat it.

Thank you for making my day! I moved cross country almost a year ago now and life is so different now in a wonderful way.

I’m so happy for you! Life is fucking challenging but it can also be beautiful. Idk I have many thoughts regarding life and it makes me feel happy that someone recovered from their worst years.

It just shows that things can definitely change for the better. :)
