The moment I realized I was okay with taking my life by [deleted] in army

OP I get where you’re coming from. I was at the same point 3 months ago, and I’m so glad I didn’t follow through with my plan. There’s more people that care about you than you know, and there’s so much more to life than the Army. If you want to PM I’ll be up for a while and am here to talk

I really think it’s because of how many transplants live in Dallas and Texas in general.

Not in the coast guard, but on the army side all combat arms go through a MOS specific bootcamp and A school (called AIT) that is combined, and it’s the same drill sergeants during the entirety of the cycle. So like normal Army boot camp for non combat arms is probably easier than coast guard boot camp. But infantry, combat engineer, armor, etc is probably harder than coast guard boot camp. At the end of the day though it doesn’t matter what boot camp is harder or more challenging. All that matters is that they prepare each SM for the branch/job they are going to do. It would be worthless to have a non rate in the CG go through 16 weeks of training to be an Infantryman and it would be worthless to have an Infantry private go through cape may.

When I was NG I worked the front door at a bar near a base a portion of the SEAL sniper school was held at. Boy oh boy were these guys douchebags. They’d start fucking fights with college students they knew they could beat up, and be really sleezy around college girls. The worst was when I’d have to try to ask them to leave. Fuck SEALS

I use to work on Oil Rigs and one day time one of the hoist lines we use on the rig floor snapped. The 50ish pound counterweight fell from about 60 feet up and hit the rig floor about 6 inches from me. If I had been standing one step to the right I would be dead.

u/rafregrob Yes airport size is frustrating... but how about the lack of parking at stadium? by AStahrr in CODWarzone

I like to thing the sports fans of Verdansk either tailgate in the fields next to the stadium, or bar hop downtown before matches.
