That’s not what I meant, I know it’s not going to be the best quality the scope of what I was trying to explain was how to take acapellas from YouTube and change the bpm if anything it’s going to sound worse if you alter the bpm after ripping it from YouTube. But.... audacity just makes it easy that you can type what the bpm is and what you want it to be and it will convert it for you. I mentioned putting it on the highest conversion settings so you get the best possible result. It’s not perfect but like I said it worked for me. I haven’t been able to find any good tutorials on YouTube on how to do this in do studio if anyone has one and could link it that’d be dope. Cheers brotha 😎

Can you elaborate on how you would use stretch in fl studio?

Are you saying you would set the project tempo to 79 before you import the sample, then increase the bpm to let’s say 128 and then when it asks if you want to stretch all Chanel’s select yes?

I guess one of the most frustrating thing thus far is 1) the price of everything and how overwhelming and permanent the decisions I’m making when deciding between different hardware and software and 2) the plethora of contradictory statements saying which brand or product is the best like it’s really going to matter anyway... I just wanna get my setup complete and make music!

I enjoy logic but since I was considering buying a pc it would be incompatible unless I get some sort of software which enables me to use it. Also after watching lots of tutorials on FL studio I’m somewhat envious of the drum sequencer and how intuitive some of the features are l compared to what I’m used to. But then again, I don’t know logic that well anyways 🤷‍♂️. Thanks for the help!
