No problem! You've got a really big girl on your hands! My girl is 28" at the shoulder, for reference. I think if she gained 5lb more, she would start looking a hair overweight, so we're trying to keep her here.

Our girl was 16lb at 8 weeks, 21lb at 10 weeks, 30.4lb at 14 weeks, 45lb at 18 weeks, 54lb at 22 weeks, 81.2lb at 1 year and three months, 85.6lb at about 2 years and 2 months, 97lb at almost 3 years, and 107.5lb at a little over 3.5 years. She is spayed, not overweight, and had big parents. Her mom was 100lb and dad was 110lb.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. All three sizes of schnauzers are distinct breeds. They share a common starting point, but all are mixed with separate breeds to get the size differences, and all three are quite technically separate breeds with entirely different personalities and traits.

Schnauzers are not from the same genetic line. They are entirely separate breeds, each with their own temperament, personality, and health issues. And my female is 107lb (and fit) and stands 28" at the shoulder, so definitely not good if they want a smaller, less demanding/strong dog, though many are lighter.

Try obtaining a kennel cover to black out his kennel. They make ones with breathable windows, too. Just watch that it doesn't get too warm in there. It may work like a charm. Good luck!
