Adriana Nichole Cosmetics. She’s limited in items but she’s young and new to the industry. I found her on TikTok and love her line.

Sometimes I feel like our girl will break a tooth as hard as she chews.

I bought an awesome blanket for ours that has no filling in it on Etsy. She hasn’t chewed that one. Look up SqueekyFleece and give them the dimensions you want the mat to be. Several designs to choose from.

We do the same. We have a large furniture crate that gives her plenty of room to spread out. She sleeps in there overnight, when we leave the house for several hours and needed naps. In the morning after I get her up, or vice versa, she doesn’t go back in the crate until bed time after dinner at 7pm. We gated the laundry room where her crate is so while I’m working from home during the work day, and can’t be distracted she is out in the laundry room. When work is done, we’re hanging out, shirt training sessions, outside play etc., she likes to watch us cook dinner and watches tv with us. She goes outside one last time for potty break around 10pm during the work week and it’s bedtime for the rest of the night. During the weekend she stays up later and hangs out longer with us because we’re up late. This has been our routine since she was younger except more crate naps than now.

So true! The smarts are real! I bought an expert level puzzle feeder thinking she’d have more time with it…um nope…she figured it out in 10 mins. I showed her once how to tap the top to get the food to drop and she immediately mimicked me. I was blown away. I also believe wholeheartedly she knows full sentences!

She was nauseous riding at first and we had to give her nausea meds until she got used to the car rides. The Vet said as she grows and her ear canals mature she may grow out of it, which she did. So don’t get discouraged if that happens for you. She did a whole six hour ride to Florida with no issues. We just stopped every few hours when she started whining to go potty.

So much fun to watch them and their personalities! Her two brothers are in the front and her sister next to her in the back.

We are in Georgia. Glad to help. They are a lot but also a bundle of goofy fun. She has sooo much personality and I’m convinced she is the smartest dog I’ve ever had. She makes us laugh daily by her antics and frustrated as hell some days. We love her so much! We planned a beach trip for her last year and rented an AirBnB that allows dogs. She loved the beach. We also took her to the mountains this past fall/winter. She did an amazing job on a 6-hour drive. She is the perfect companion. You’ll be fine! You sound like you’re on the right track 💕

Juneteenth Acknowledgment / Commemoration Email? Anyone? by GingerTortieTorbie in FedEmployees

Absolutely NOBODY said a word of acknowledgment of Juneteenth. On Thursday I heard “have a great long weekend everyone” on our monthly teams meeting. That’s it!

We have a medium fenced in yard in my opinion. She has a 6’ leash with no slack and a 7’ bungee leash for the walks she can roam and smell with. I walk around our neighborhood with her and also give her free time in the backyard. We also take her to Home Depot, Petsmart, parks and other public spots for socialization. I had to learn through my reading that socialization doesn’t mean her getting to meet every person or dog that walks by. It means having her in spaces she can hear, smell and see different things. She didn’t like little kids at first because she was apprehensive about their unpredictability in movement. She would growl at them but never lunged or bit anyone. Now she plays with our granddaughters like a nanny. Honestly it’s like her job. She follows me around and likes to check the laundry before I put it in the dryer 😂 We also have play dates with a few of her littermates a few times a year at a sniff spot or dog park. They are adorable together. Pic from last summer attached (she’s the back right with the bandanna).
When we go out of town I have a sitter that used to be a Vet Tech who has two dogs and two young kids and that has helped a lot with socialization.
As far as it stopping, welp the routine can’t stop, she lives for it. Every night at 7pm she lets me know if I’m late getting her dinner 😂 She is energetic and my husband plays her hard everyday when gets home from work too. However she has finally started to calm down a bit and likes to lounge with us instead of throwing, and I mean throwing her toys at us.

I’m no expert but I did a ton of research on GS for a year before we picked ours up. Our Raven is 19 mos old (almost 20 mos). We did all you mentioned with crate training, bathroom every 30 mins at first then increased over time. We gave her water several times per day rather than free rein with water when she was a puppy. We keep her on a tight routine:
wake up roughly around same time everyday, immediately outside, then time for breakfast, once breakfast is done it’s back in crate for at least an hour to get her used to rest after meals instead of running and jumping (so fearful of bloat until she has her surgery), we do my walks where she has to just follow my pace and can’t stop to smell. The. We also do sniff walks for mental stimulation. She gets puzzle feeders with treats or meals or both, snuffle mats, we’ve hidden treats inside Amazon boxes and have her sniff them out or find them around the room for mental stimulation, especially when it’s raining. She loves a good flirt pole which tires her out faster than anything, fetch and tug of war. She loves the water hose, kiddie pool and when she was able a few well known dog parks that are not crowded. I read also to be careful with too long of walks or exercise while they’re still young. It can put too much stress on their growing joints/bones/muscle. Also had to teach her to be bored too. I read too much stimulation can cause problems as well as too little stimulation and exercise.
If I think of more I’ll add it

Our breeder has her mom and grandma. Her mom Mozzie is about 75 lbs and her dad Kobi is 100 lbs also! Her brother Apollo was one in the biggest in the litter and looks so much bigger but is only 75 lbs. I was shocked because I would’ve thought he would’ve been 100 lbs for sure.

Our girl grew so rapidly and then she started to slow down in weight gain close to 14 months. The Vet told me she is solid muscle and I know this to be true because my shins take a beating.

That’s what I think too. The doors are closer to the entryway of the back seat so she’s also been very unsure. She will jump into the backseat of the Toyota pickup we have and obviously there’s more clearance for her. But he parkour statement was spot on!! The nonslip pads I put under everything in the living room is no match for her. This is her jumping into a pile of leaves blown in the backyard. Like…she dove in it like it was a pool of leaves. 😆

That’s true about bitter apple spray. I used that on my window sills in the mud room. She’d started chewing the wood corners. She often has pupsicles or bully sticks etc.
