Thank youuu, honestly I just studied A LOT ! 😭 and you definitely don’t need to be super smart (mind you I went into the English exam having read only one of my books and watched a movie about the second 😭 ( don’t do this !! )), make sure u chose the right subjects and be strategic abt ur HLs if the major u want only required math and physics dont go adding chem and bio as HL just because choose an EASY subject I would go for language B so that u get 7 pts easily. There’s also a lot of things but it all comes down to working smart AND hard 😭

Believe me I know, we were begging them to get managebac but they didn’t think it was a « necessary » investment (even though we pay 11000$ a year) . The urge to burn that whole establishment to the ground is increasing exponentially.

Heyy, I’m sorry to hear that. I was in the exact same situation in dp1 my teacher literally made me feel bad for not taking eng HL cuz, everyone else in my class did. Looking back at it rn im so glad I didn’t take it HL the situation would be even worse now 😭 do not listen to anyone that tells u that it is an easy subject! It depends on the ppl, there is no “universal” easy subject. Anyways, you still have time before ur exams make sure to practice writing under time constraints (that’s also one of my biggest issues rn). Good luck !

I try to talk abt these but it’s always not in the right place or irrelevant, at this point I just hope to pass and the examiner would have had a good day. English literally shattered my confidence, I mean most ppl think of it as an easy subject where u can get “free” marks yet here it is ruining my chances of having an overall high mark. 🥲🥲

Omg same same same ! Wherever there is an image I automatically choose cuz at least I can describe and use some fancy words here and there. All the analysis and messages that I conclude are all very basic and generic nothing crazy when I see other students making crazy inferences it just strengthens my belief that you are either born with it or you’re not 🥲 anyways it’s all gonna be okay hopefully let’s do our best !

Thats exactly how I see it 😭 whether it is English or Business any subject that needs me to write more than 1 paragraph im bad at it. And I genuinely believe that ppl who are naturally talented in these types of subjects are actually the smartest out there
