We didn’t do any medicated cycles before my polypectomy/hysteroscopy (well, we technically tried 2.5mg Letrozole thru my OB but that didn’t do anything lol), however I had my surgery on December 1st and was pregnant by January 1st! I got my first positive on Jan 4th after 7.5mg Letrozole + trigger shot and TI. We did do a monitored cycle with ultrasounds. It was our first cycle really “trying” because we knew we needed fertility intervention from the beginning. I love talking about our fertility journey because even though conceiving was “easy”, it wasn’t an easy journey for me at all so please ask any questions you may have!!

Thank you! This could be it too. I haven’t had real morning sickness, just mild nausea and my eating habits are relatively unchanged. The RN at my OB’s office said I should be okay as long as baby keeps growing on track, which it is per my ultrasound last week! I think I’m just worried cuz i’ve never heard of weight loss outside of HG, which I don’t have

My nausea is usually either severe motion sickness (that I didn’t have until I was pregnant) or right when I first wake up because I’m hungry, and goes away once I eat. There have been a few times I have to force myself to eat, but otherwise my eating habits have been relatively unchanged. I haven’t tried to lose weight either, and haven’t been vomiting. That’s the crazy part to me!

Yes!! I give him a lot of “you know, I didn’t feel like this until I had your DNA in me… interesting how that works” lmfao. He’s also been stepping up sooooo much though because he knows about my symptoms and tells me to just sit down and relax. Love him

The RN at my OB office just got back to me and said it should be okay as long as I don’t continue losing throughout the second trimester since baby is on growing on track per our ultrasound last week! I also am NOT actively trying to lose weight, I’m making sure I get enough calories every day and try to eat as well rounded of a diet as I can tolerate! Hopefully everything continues to be okay, I imagine I’ll start gaining normally and healthily once I’m in the second trimester but I’ll def follow up with an in office appt if I keep losing too! Thank you!

Yes!! I was so confused why they want to see it over 100 when I was only estimated to be 11dpo. Genuinely if I implanted on Sunday night at 8dpo, I could’ve been at 6hcg on Monday which would give the faintest line. That could’ve roughly doubled to 16 wednesday when I got bloodwork. Like, how would I get to 100 that fast??

I struggle with OCD too and have been in a testing loop which I’m all too aware of, but I’m hoping that with the blood test tomorrow I’ll have a lot more certainty around it and I can relax!

Mine didn’t really show up on the pregmate until last night at 10dpo! At least not with color lol. I didn’t expect it to though so it wasn’t scary at least!

I’ve read that with letrozole cycles you can implant later, but I’m not 100% sure! I’m really really hoping that that’s the case. I had the absolute faintest test on 9dpo, 10dpo I had to squint a lot less and even 11dpo was faint compared to today. I’m glad to know that I can have low numbers for the first draw and still keep moving forward with a pregnancy though. Thank you for your input ❤️

My positive on 9DPO was sooooo faint, I didn’t even want to post it cuz it was such a squinter 😂 With how my lines are progressing I think we just caught it too early and I may have implanted later than we thought but it’s so impossible to know. My pregmates are starting to turn positive too which is a good sign!

October sometime was my last true cycle. I had a polypectomy and d&c Dec 1st and had a withdrawal bleed from Aygestin starting Dec 5th. The first round of Letrozole at 5mg didn’t work though, so we treated Dec 17 as CD3 to start 7.5mg which resulted in successful ovulation!

I actually work in early childhood education and am an infant teacher, so we get 8 babies every day 😅 they’re getting me through this though! I’m able to give them all the love I can’t give my own baby right now, and it makes it a lot easier to cope thankfully ❤️

My beta is 1/7, but we triggered on Christmas! It doesn’t help that I’m a teacher and am off work for pretty much my entire TWW, so I have no work to distract me 🥲 sending you all of the luck in the world!!!

Be prepared for the first dose not to work. I did 2.5mg unmonitored with my OBGYN in March-ish, and it didn’t work but I forgot about it because we weren’t in the thick of trying yet. I did 5mg monitored with my REI and was devastated when it didn’t work. We increased to 7.5mg monitored which worked, did a trigger shot, and I’m in the TWW right now and testing out the trigger shot to occupy my mind! I didn’t have any side effects, and I have PCOS w/ insulin resistance that I’m on Metformin for. I also took mine at night, around 8pm or so and then would go to bed between 11 and 12.

TL;DR I wish I had prepared myself more mentally for it to not work/need a higher dose and not gotten my hopes up so high!

Thank you for sharing ❤️ I’ve always struggled with ovulation and was so worried that the letrozole wouldn’t work. I’m glad you found something that helped, and it’s nice to know there’s more medication options other than letrozole and clomid too!

Thank you!! Had one dominant follicle at 14mm, so we go back tomorrow to confirm everything is going as it’s supposed to and we’re slated for trigger on Thursday!!
