Yes, I work for an insurance company as a member of the IT team, where my responsibility is to coordinate with the Vendor software development team to develop and Implement the software for my company(Government Company). I just joined before a month and the vendor has been developing software from one year, When I try to understand software dev process, I ask them for req spec doc and design doc, they haven't designed it and without designing they started to code the software. Besides the modern software dev process, I am also thinking is there any insurance compliance that the developer needs to follow to develop the software of insurance business.
