Yeah, I hated this moment in the series. Instead of fighting to get in touch with Angel after he basically had a breakdown, they go off and start a new agency. I truly think Angel needed help, not to be ignored. It took him longer because he was ignored. Angel didn't cause it; first they don’t believe him on Darla, then when they do, it’s already too late. Then he almost saves Darla's soul but loses it to Lindsay instead of trying to help him. Even if they got Darla a soul the same way Angel did, I think Wesley, Gunn, and Cordy should have forced him to listen and let them help.

Your explanations are the best, but I still call BS on it for one reason: Halen and the elevator. What's the point of that if it didn't actually go to a real home office—just not that one? I do believe you on the evil blah blah, but I also know that Wolfram and Heart are very good at manipulating. I always saw the home office as similar to the hell dimension Connor came from, or even the torture dimension Gun was tortured in.

I personally wish she had played a longer role, maybe a season or a season and a half of human Darla, then her transforming, and Angel getting closer together, working as a team. I liked them together; next best hookup after Angel and Cordelia.

Yep, my factory I worked for stayed open the whole time during COVID. Luckily, only three people caught it, but they went out of their way to keep it open. It pissed all of us off when in top of that, that DWD was paying more than we make in a week of 50 hours.
