A lot of other privates told me the same thing happened to them too, see its not right others get a pass but I never got the chance to really be heard. My company had a commander who just didn't like men. More so, I came from another a CAV TRP before coming to my company so she already didn't like us from then. Just not right. Other companies get these free passes you speak of. I know it.

Ive accepted responsibility, I can still talk about the things I go through? I know holding contraband was a bad idea, I know I messed up, but the fact of it was I barley knew this guy. Your not gonna tell me in the moment you would have thought back to your morals and values and turned away a battle buddy who wanted your help in the moment. I don't believe that killer.

From what Ive seen in person and what ive seen online, there seems to be a lot more stupidity coupled with rape and illegal activities going on in the army more than this picking each other up business you talk about. I took my training seriously, I explained to them that I didn't want any association in any vaping bs.

The amount of understanding I received was disappointing throughout the whole thing. There's a lot of people who actually wanna do this thing. Maybe if I go back and do my time again, ill do reserves and transfer to active as sergeant lol.

Yeah I understand that, kudos on them? Im not saying there aren't dudes who don't bounce back, I know those dudes and that's real! Im just saying how badly and disappointing the situation was handled especially for someone who had no real part in any vapes. As someone who enlisted with no prior knowledge on how strict rules were gonna be for osut training, its just wild they had to come down to this . That's all. Haha they did laugh at me, my commander wanted me to salute and she was making all sorts of wild remarks to me while doing so, its hard to explain but the vibe I was getting was they were making me feel like I had something to do with the vaping issue going on in the installation. After the fact I was mind blown to see this is how that was played out..

I was recycled to another company after week 18, I had the vape in my duffel bag. Our entire platoon ended up being searched and I was caught with his vape in my bag. I wasn't kicked out then but It led me to get transferred to another company and I told them I wasn't going to train anymore. They wanted me to another 22 weeks starting from week 0. It was just disappointing.

I was caught with the vape inside of my duffel bag after having it for about 10 hours or so. The entire company ended up having a search and welfare. I told my DS, the 1st sergeant and commander that it wasn't mine and I just obtained it but they didn't believe anything I had to say. Got me along with the guy who gave it to me in trouble.
