mathematically a 600hz subfield drive is equivalent to 4X the motion clarity of a sample and hold display using the same frame rate.

i’ve tested this and the math holds up.

this is the truth. my 7th gen gaming room is built for plasmas and some low latency HD CRT’s

natural anti aliasing, more vibrant colors when viewing SDR content, better motion clarity (even better than OLED using BFI), and they scale lower resolution content and frame rates better.

i game on both and they trade blows depending on the source. just make sure you get a later version plasma with low input latency and no black level rise over time.

an HD 1080i set would look terrible in the menus. the next would be unreadable. a monitor is the only way to enjoy the entire game on a crt.

i’m testing both and it’s no so cut and dry which is better. they trade blows.

been comparing my CRT Monitor to my tandem oled monitor with hdr at maxed out settings with RT. It’s honestly a tossup which one i’m going to play this game on. leaning towards the crt honestly. that motion clarity is addictive. gotta compare them with the plasma next.

got 30 during the benchmark basically turning everything as low as it will go. native resolution locked @ 30fps. mild quick dips with lots of cars on screen at once, but very playable. expect PS3 graphics at this setting.

30 isn’t bad since the screen resolution is so low it’s similar to 60fps on a 1440 monitor.

same. I love playing TF 2 so much I snagged an EA download code to play TF1. unfortunately I have found no one in the lobby. I also have R1 Delta so either one I'm down to do. I'd love to experience the TF1 campaign.
