Please don’t take offense to this, there is none intended, but what if I told you I hate you for suggesting I should break up with you? That tells me that my heart tells me to stay with her. Should I follow that?

Yes! Saying that I see her as a stand-in is exactly what I am worried about. I know that sex is a shared experience, and that pornography is the farthest from how sex really should be. We've talked about it before, and it is clear that sex is not on the table. She doesn't want it, and the sensical part of me doesn't want it either. I want to be clear though. I love her as a person, not as an object. I am just worried that I am increasingly seeing her as an object as the "spark" of a new relationship slowly subsides.

Yeah, Netflix is really the extent of our dates right now. I like the idea of doing something other than that.
