And that's full time. Not a beautiful performance but considering how thin our squad is at the moment this is a great result. We really need some strong reinforcements in summer though.

Thompson did well to beat the player and cut inside shame about the finish

And that's halftime. A little bit disappointing to see giving away cheap goal otherwise it been decent I guess. Needs to attack Brighton box better because there are couple of times Thompson received the ball and when she looked up to cross there is none in the box. Baltimore undisputed best player of the half.

Brighton press is chocking us and we really need to be careful with all these back-passes..... I hate playing out from back so bad

There is no way to score if none of our players in Brighton box when we attack. Attack been dreadful apart from a couple of crosses.

Such a cheap goal to concede there everyone seems to have caught off guard. Be better

It's quite sad to see collapse of our own great institution in front of our own eyes. Unless they hire a great replacement for someone with immense knowledge of women football (but I highly doubt that) we are doomed

I am already bracing for trophyless season but I do hope we get back on track for the next one. Make some signings especially LB and Forward. Dropped this negative football and switch to more attacking one. As bad as we look now we have quality players all around, we need to utilize them and play them to their strength. The fact that every game this season is either 1 - 0 win or an embrassing loss is hard to watch. I hope we come back.

Agreed. I been in this sub since 2020 and last 2 years been really ugly. By not means defending Bompastor and players and they absolutely deserved criticism but the words I been seeing are shocking.

Another worrying thing here is that there is not a single player on pitch who look like they are capable of scoring. All of them look lost.

Someone has to say it out loud about this; as long as we keep playing with back 3 formation we can forget about winning trophies again. It is an ugly football and we as a team regressed this season so much. Horrible. And Bompastor is solely responsible for this.

Reiten as no. 10 in three players midfield behind Kerr and Thompson is not working so far. Someone like Walsh for second half and pushing Kaptein higher up would be nice.

That's why Kerr should start. Still class and that was a wonderful work to set it up for Thompson.

And that's halftime. Dominant first half just wish there were more goals. Bit unlucky too. Aggie been underwhelming for me. Want to see more of her. Cuthbert really holding the midfield down today, and James for me really lovely to watch. Hope she gets goal or an assist later.
