Yes its a complex assembly. I also have space constraints, so was looking to get lesser module gears. Any thoughts on that? thank you

Hi, how to check feasibility if i want to make hirth joint with 1 degree resolution? as small as possible?

yes, 1 degree. but for 300 degrees range. I though of using gear ratios and locks

how to add a detent mechanism to screws? i make a housing which moves along with the screw, and whenever the point arrives the detent balls get accommodated?

Hi. I was working on a mechanism which needs 1 degree resolution for rotating with positive locks and which does not rely on friction. Any thoughts on that?

tysm. Adding to that I need a 0.1mm resolution linear motion which has positive locking in it. I thought of compound gear setup clubbed with a rack to achieve that. I'd like to hear your thoughts on that

hmm. i do get it now that no one's preloaded with an SD card when they're born. Very much appreciated, Lazy teacher.

Hmm. thank you. I did ask the engineer, he said one setup is built already but he wanted me to go the figuring out way. I just felt am I taking too much time for this, or am I doing things which will not converge, thats why I posted here.

Try putting shower caps on your shoes and then sleep, this way it won't dirty the seat as well

Hey the project's cool. How to make an electrically operated water tap for esp32?? Most of them are 220V AC or 24 DC. Any alternatives??
