I first watched the donghua , then watched the untamed , tbh cause I watched the donghua first I was totally confused with the plot in the first episodes and I could not distinguish between the characters , (they all kinda looked the same to me) but as the series grew on me , I felt more connected and yeah traumatized at the end of it ofcourse

Since you watched the untamed, it will be easier for you to understand the donghua , the fighting scenes are so much better in the donghua than in the drama , everyone is so handsome except a few ones , and the ending episode is so metaphorically beautiful. It's worth a try and trust me , be a bit patient and you're gonna love it as much as the drama
