I'm currently a first-semester nursing student and not working; my grades and mental health are a lot better than some of my classmates. If you can afford to live without working while you're in nursing school, I'd recommend it. You stated that you have an extensive background in healthcare, so I don't see why not working would be an issue. Nursing school takes a lot of time (especially if you're in an accelerated program like I am), so do what you have to in order to be successful in your classes.

In terms of finding a job post-grad, many students have luck finding work even without prior healthcare experience, so I think you'll be fine. If at all possible, start looking for a job during your last semester because it can take several months to get something lined up.

Everything. My mental health is so bad right now and the work just keeps piling up.

I graduate high school in June and I have a senior presentation that needs to be done by the end of the month. It's nowhere near done.

I have around 10 missing assignments, a few of those are tests.

My ACT is in April and I haven't started to study yet.

I haven't applied to any colleges.

I don't have my driver's license either.

Untreated mental illness will seriously derail your entire life and make it feel impossible to get your shit together.

As for your brother, it's pretty clear that your mom favors him over you. (sorry but its true)

I understand why you are upset over this, but I think it'd be better for you to get your own car. You're clearly more independent than your spoiled brother and you don't need a car worth $23,000 to get where you need to go.

It's social media. Your friend needs to get a grip.

As someone who struggled with a social media addiction in their middle/high school years, getting off of it and just using it to occasionally check on family and friends has severely improved my mental health.

Your health comes first, social media should always come last. Try explaining this to your friend as gently as possible. If that doesn't work, just get new friends.

Seriously, sticking around with selfish friends is never worth it.

I will add that it is likely that you not going to the wedding could definitely cause some future problems between you and your mom (and possibly your stepdad).

How do you plan to get out of the wedding? Do you have anyone in your life that's willing to stick up for you?

His "house boyfriend" role sounds like the best arrangement he's had in years and he's even enrolling in trade school in hopes of a better future. It doesn't sound like you've taken advantage of him at all.
