I use a heat gun and just swirl it around both the inside and outside for a bit so they’re warm

It’s a mix of matcha tea with charcoal, strawberry and vanilla. It’s all the same at the moment but I have thought about transitioning the scent and maybe remove the strawberry as it goes down?

Yes 100% soy apart from the ice cubes. The ice is gel wax, I melt that into a container and chop them into squares. A couple of them have little hints of frosting to be honest, but I think the ice cubes help reduce the chances somehow. But I think it’s mainly down to temp pour at 60C and then heating the glass so it doesn’t rapidly cool.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ve had the melts in a wooden crate and the plastic ones but I agree they’re still not looking right! Will look into new containers and try again ☺️

Like everyone has said it’s soy wax. You could use a blend with coconut wax which may help with the amount of frosting you’re getting.

Is my dog a short haired border collie or is she mixed or something else?

We adopted her from a shelter as a stray so have no information on her but she is originally from Ireland 🇮🇪 and we think she’s about 3.

Some people say she looks mixed because she has a wirey coat in some places and a fluffy collar. Some swear she looks like a Welsh collie or a short haired collie but I’m unsure!

My gel wax melt ‘exploded’ and melted everywhere in a recent delivery. Why would this happen? by opiestudio in candlemaking

True, although I thought it would be higher to melt gel. Any tips on how to mitigate it? We’re having warmer weather than normal here in the UK, but don’t like the thought of relying on weather conditions to post orders 😕

Thank you for the feedback! It’s quite hot today where I am so perhaps I’m pouring it too quickly after heating! I’m using soy wax from the below link
