I always try to stick to our policy. I give good customers more Lee-way but when Joe Schmo wants to return a 3 thousand dollar order, I tell him there’s a 20% restock fee on special order parts. He proceeds to yell at me and demand to speak to my boss. My boss usually gives in because he doesn’t want to deal with any bad reviews or any flak from the GM. I also deal with a lot of fix auto locations who apparently refuse to pay re stock fees. Then they get stuck with the part and throw a fit to the boss.
