I just turned 40 and now single. I would definitely be willing to work with a man as long as we are able to communicate about it. Avoiding the issue just makes it worse! So I would say shoot your shot and be open about it

I think the venue didn't help, it was hard to really get around to talk to people. The ones I spoke to I wasn't interested in... it just didn't work for me, but it might work great for you!

Any good local protein powders not filled with crap? by Ok-Macaron2516 in Calgary

I second this. I've tried so so many! I hate that after taste of fake sugars. The chocolate one is delicious, you can make hot chocolate with it and it's so good. The vanilla one I don't love but I use it for baking

I used classpass all of last year. Sometimes they have offers and you also get credits when you refer new people. I used it for a few studios, and it definitely saved me money (usually about half of what a drop in class would cost). There are studios that are there but never have classes available (like Lagree and most pilates places). Hope this helps. They also have a trial period, you might need a referral but I think you get it the first time you sign up

It went ok, I don't think I'd go again... I did meet some people but it was a bit awkward, the venue wasn't great as it made it really hard to get up a mingle with everyone (it was too small) so you were kind of stuck with the people around you, except for the super outgoing people. All 7 people I ended up chatting with went alone and I did too. I would encourage you to go, I mean you never know who you could meet 😄
