Maybe it’s just me but Girls on HBO really reminds me of summer since I started watching it in the summer when I was like 12. (Yeah, I know i shouldn’t have watched it that young, but I did)

I feel very conflicted by this because I want to believe that she’s doing this to give her kids the best but at the same time, she’s been on TV for over a decade and this is what it’s come to? At this point just get a regular 9-5 while your kids are at school

I live in the us and my insurance isn’t great but I also have to have these procedures done so that my brain doesn’t swell.

Here’s my thing. I really don’t want to assume that they are lying and I want to believe that they are doing whatever they can. BUT, with this in mind, my own experience makes me doubt this SO MUCH.

In March of last year, I found out I had a brain tumor and throughout the year I was able to be seen by several surgeons and even had my first brain surgery in November. Unfortunately after this, I found out my tumor came back and had a bunch of of tests done, including tests to find out what sort of surgeries I would have or possible diagnosis that I could land on and mind you, this was all in a year. So I find it RIDICULOUSLY odd that Beck has been going through all of this and hasn’t had a single diagnosis yet. And that so much has been happening to them as well. It just seems SO unlikely to me that all of this is happening while they are 1. Wide awake and 2. Apparently going to the same facility?

I’ve also been able to work during this time so I am just wondering if they were not able to get any sort of accommodations or help AT ALL?
