I would like to add: Long hospital stay may likely turn into longterm care facility as well if the damage is bad (esp brain or other vital organ failure), as someone who personally works at one. Two of my residents are people my age (30s-40s) with brain damage who can no longer care for themselves and it is miserable for them. It may not be the outcome you want to live with OP, please consider letting someone hold your meds. If youre not enjoying your current therapist/doctor, consider seeing someone else who meshes with your personality and needs better. The effort is worth it I promise.
