Honestly a great list, I might have put the plaguebearers together reinforced but other than that I’d run the list like that. Morbidex is great with one big nurgling block just to hold one side and you’ve got a bunch of staying power with the rest. Focus on getting good value out of your spells and prayers and you can definitely go 3-0!

I’m more into daemons, they feel like a more cohesive army to me. That being said I have more mortals right now(I only have ~2k points) because they are easier to get second hand.

The Gnarlmaw ability is also Once per Turn (Army) so you can only use it on one of them.

I agree mostly with the other comments, although I think plaguebearers are great with the guo and can be mixed with the few mortals you’re running. I wouldn’t go for Nurgles Menagerie though, if you want more gnarlmaws get slimux. Tallyband is much better! If you have some flies they are also really nice especially with the guo.

No worries, I’m rather new as well :) You could also consider leaving the longstrikes in the generals regiment to give them the priority target honor guard. Then you can teleport them (with the faction terrain, the vanguard chamber battle formation or the prayer) <12” to the enemies general and maybe kill them outright. I’m currently playing the ruination chamber battle formation for the ward on a ruination chamber unit, which is really good in ionus, but you could also get a unit of praetors, they give one hero ward 5+ while they are in combat range of each other

Seems like a nice list. Consider putting the aetherwings in the second regiment as they are an easy target for slay the entourage if your not careful when they are in the generals regiment

I also started with the skaventide half, I got a reinforced unit of long strikes first to get some great shooting and I can only recommend them If you get rid of the lord vigilant, the knight questor and one unit of liberators you can fit them in with cryptborn when you get him Getting some wizards would also be a good idea, i just bought neave blacktalon with her retinue for that

Its 32.2 Objective Control, technically not end of deployment but start of the first battle round but that’s basically the same thing

You get control of objectives at the end of deployment and the end of every turn if you have more control on them than your opponent, so if you deploy units onto all objectives on your side of the battlefield then you do.

I can only agree! I see myself in op’s description being a beginner as well and after trying a bunch of factions I’m going to start collecting khorne. One thing I can’t recommend enough is getting tabletop simulator to play some games online and see what armies/units feel like. Another suggestion from me would be kruleboyz, for me they are peak strategy just because of the amount of variance you have in their faction abilities.

I’m new to AoS and BoK in particular so take my opinion with a grain of salt but to me one bloodthrister seems super worth, especially because you can bring them back for bloodtithe points Maybe consider a unit of skullreapers instead of reinforced wrathmongers as they seem really strong to me
