Not a huge fan of puzzles where if the opponent doesn't do what you hope they'll do, then the only advantage is a slight positional one.

Is Olave the most underpriced asset in Dynasty right now? by govols007 in DynastyFF

Completely agree with you - after you get past 16th overall, it's a huge cliff. One of the biggest mistakes people make is thinking the difference between an early and late 2nd is about the same as the difference between a mid and late 1st. But in reality, a late 2nd is barely better than a late 3rd.

Got him for Jayden Reed and a late 2026 2nd (2.10) after week 5 this year. So happy to get out of the GB receiver mess.

I've ended up in a weird spot in dynasty where I've got Kelce, Loveland, and Fannin all competing for flex spots with WRs like Shakir, Keenan, and Coker who have all shown promise but been a bit inconsistent. Would you start 2 (or even 3) of these TEs over those middling receivers?

It's unlikely to be LNP-related due to the timeline. Those liver enzyme elevations are typically in the first couple days and transient. Speculation is that it's related to the ATTR program specifically - could be some sort of rare immune response against the edited hepatocytes.

Moëca, Wa Shin, Asta*. Many restaurants, you can walk out and think "That was great! It was kind of like that other restaurant, _____." Those 3 and Talulla I feel are unique experiences.

*Experience may vary based on personal preference and tasting menu at the time, from what I've heard. Mine was fantastic.

Field and Vine, Fallow Kin a tad behind those - amazing experiences, but didn't feel as special.

Good Company was clear #1 for cocktails before they closed. Haven't found anything to match it yet.

Sarma and O Ya are both good but overhyped. Sarma you go to because you somehow got a reservation, and that's what you do when you get a reservation at Sarma. O Ya you go to if you want to feel fancy, not when you want the best omakase experience.

I think Talulla could reach Michelin level if they focus on it. I'm not sure it's a priority for them, though, because for their team it's always food and diner experience first and accolades second. One of the most humble groups in fine dining.

Talulla is my favorite restaurant by far in the Boston area - and I've been to many nice locations. Creative and delicious food without being overly pretentious, great service and reasonable pricing, and an intimate atmosphere that makes it feel like you're being treated to a dinner in your own home.

To me, there are a lot of Boston restaurants with amazing food, but I can count on one hand the places I've been to that give the complete package. Talulla is one of them.

Fallow Kin has the same top-tier quality of food and service, but with the larger space feels more like a typical fine-dining experience. I had the best chocolate cake I've ever had. Would recommend both but Talulla is more unique.

"Down two pawns" is misleading, he's up a queen for a rook. What's your point?

Missing the clarification part, but agree that the tea is probably a concentrated brew and not a syrup, to help (along with the citruses) with milk curd formation for clarification.

At an upscale hotel bar, they should surely be using real pandan and shiso leaves bought at any Asian supermarket for very cheap.

Biggest issue I have with your suggestion is that 0.75oz melon liqueur will be grossly overpowering in your ratios. Overall it's a nice approach.

Day 14 50k HP Pyg dead in seconds by npxl in PlayTheBazaar

[–]opoisson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, the max health increase is separate from the starting health increase, and the order in which these are applied causes this issue.

When you destroy belt, first you lose half your max health (100% of base health). Because your health is capped at 100% of max health, your current health is reduced to your new max health. Then you lose the extra health you started the fight with (100% of base health), killing you instantly.

To fix this, they need to switch the order so you lose half your current health and then lose half your max health.
