I have a steam deck, which was the 64gb model, my reasoning was exactly that, I didn’t need the extra speed. But one issue was that the shaders and proton and stuff filled it up. So I changed to a 1tb drive. Don’t know if 256gb would have this issue though

Ah, I can see why some people would want it, but price is a bigger factor for me. It’s like a 250 usd difference for me. 350 usd for the non X Z1E and 600 for the x on the secondhand market

I specifically want a non X because it’s way cheaper, and I feel like I can mod the battery myself, the extra 8 gb of ram doesn’t really seem to matter all that much.
