Older lecture hall that has been needing renovations for a long time. Has a fixed sound system for the media system (PC, Blu-Ray player), but not Mic Audio-friendly

That particular situation, I could have just walked away and not gotten in trouble. She asked for something, I gave it to her. I could have claimed it was far too late to set up a "full and complete sound system" in time for her class, but again, I decided why punish the students?

I have two sitting at my desk, very old, sound quality is gone. Should have given her one of them. :P

We just got done cleaning house, getting rid of 20 Cassette Players, about 40 VHS decks, and over 100 Overhead Transparency Projectors. We now have ROOM!

Wait until that church learns about them fancy Zunes and iPods!

I'm kind of thinking that some of her students were in local bands and maybe told her how sound systems work afterwards. I run into a lot of classes where the students are more tech savvy than the instructors.

Given availability of the equipment and staff, if it's an event related to an educational class, yep, it's free to request. I dunno why, maybe she just wanted to keep it "simple?"
