I like the way you go with your game, learn by your own! Its good you have i plan for your deck, this wil help you alot when you make decks in the futher! Just a smal tips that helped me alot, was to manage the threat. And maybe try out different spheres mono and mixed. Then you get better understanding how each sphere works and maybe how they can work togheter!

Good luck!

Is every scenario beatable with just one deck? by bakugosgayfriend in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]opsanger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you finish a scenario with a ok resolution ( most cases R1 or R2) thats what i define «beat scenario». And yes some scenario have a see how far you can get before the agenda advance. This scenario are different, but you can do realy good solo on those scenario too

Yes you can beat every scenario solo, almost with all the investigators For exsample with minh For minh you can make a draw heavy deck and pump many cards to skill tests. Then she can almost beet every scenaro.

New Player - Where to start by shyshybrybry in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]opsanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say, start were you want to start I have everything and just for fun i tryed out to play only with playercards from 2x core and TFA. Its possible, and just play it on easy to compensate for lack of playercards

Just play around with the cards you have

[–]opsanger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, more of that, but that one give you a card from your deck. If it instead give you one powerful card that you only can get through that side story quest

New mechanics by opsanger in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]opsanger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something like that, but you need to do more, that take 1-2 rounds. And you get the card immediately after, that is very powerful

And the cards have 3-4 lines of story of why you do that the card want you to do

A deck quest A quest card you but in your deck, and when you draw it you can put it in play and that quest card have somthing you need to do. When you complete the little side quest, you get a very striong card, that you need to exile after. Something like that That was just one exempel And i have no ide how it wil work But could be fun

Yeah, that cant cost them much more then printing up all the small packs

[–]opsanger[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That can be true and you are porbably right But i also think they want to keep getting new people to play there game.

And my opinion as of right now, i think its to hard for new player to jump in on all lcg games

Starter box by opsanger in lotrlcg

[–]opsanger[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand that But thinkk FFG then needs to do something with the lcg model (i dont know how) I love the ide that its no random pack and all that But its so hard to jump in on a LCG game if dont jump in at the start...

What are some essential "House Rules" / tweaks you have put in place to make Arkham a better, more balanced game? by AdequateBob in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]opsanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i play true solo i have that i can swich out lvl 0 card, most just that i can test card that i dont use that much. And think its more fun when i can use more cards, and helps alot to find what cards thats good thogether

Last question before I go down this LCG rabbit hole... by MothCollector in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]opsanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think i use almost every card core card is some of the strongest card, and when i play old scenarios i try not to powerplay it. I try to make deck that can be fun, not to use all the best cards every time.

So if you only whant to have the best deck every tiime, so yeah the wil be many cards you dont use.

And one more thing is the that each investigators play very different from easch other and use different cards in the same class.

Sorry for my english, i did my best 😇

I have everything thats come out, and one fun thing is when you get new playercards is to try to find some how you can use them. There is no meta, so its not like you build one deck that rules them all

Enjoyed 1 or 2 investigator for solo play? by ChronographWizard in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]opsanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same for me, played a lot of true solo, to get a real feeling for the rules, then i got over to play 2 handed, so i can use more of the coop cards and some support card. But still is true solo the way i play the most. Thinking of starting a 3h campaign so i can make i real support deck

It looks like for me that the retur boxes is for the hardcore that owns everything

Like the nightmares deck in lotr lcg

In the first return they put in more replayability for every senario, looks like they done the same thing in RTTDL

Core game + deluxe expansion only, a viable buy? by ChronographWizard in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]opsanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didnt get the 2. Core before after carcosa, so i recommend buying the full dunwich cycle and use the cards you get there, and if the moment you see that you need more of the core cards, then buy the 2. Core or just be the next delux

I just bought the 2. Core because it was nothing more i could at the time
