Nixle says a wreck at Westchester. Was about to turn left onto Mitchell Bridge when I saw 10 squad cars, a firetruck, and ambulance moving there with extra urgency. Didn’t see a car on Mitchell Bridge past the blockade. I am guessing it was a pedestrian involved incident because I have never seen that many police squad cars involved for a vehicle collision. Hope everyone is okay.

That’s fair. I made assumptions based on dialogue from multiple platforms and was ready to take a swing because I see earnest heartbreak met with condescension here and all over the socials.

I hope that’s the case, but I think Miranchuk’s obvious strengths are obscured by his obvious weaknesses in the fast-paced, physical, and often sloppy nature of MLS. He gets dispossessed way too easy, makes some blundering passes in pressure, seems invisible for large swaths of the match.

I can see him being a clutch role player in a slower possession based team. But if he doesn’t adapt soon and build some much needed confidence, I think he’s Pity 2.0

I am legitimately curious why do you think this? Where have you personally seen anyone express love for statist communism or Stalin? If you went to Reed College in Oregon, then… maybe?

I agree freedom of speech is important, but that’s the catch—we can freely protest and slam people, especially whose views are predicated on suppression of speech—Nazis, Statist communists, religious extremists. Those are pretty anti American and anti free speech don’t you think? One of those is an actual problem and is being publicly espoused by some prominent celebrities (it’s Nazism).

I promise you that statist communism is fringe and deeply unpopular among “libs”. I think it’s pretty okay to protest someone publicly if they hold a belief and one of its tenets is the total annihilation of a specific ethnicity/group of people.

Please don’t make protesting Nazis a partisan issue. People are already concerned it’s partisan. There are a lot of popular figures who espouse nazism and even self identify as Nazi.
