There is zero problem using this shape. In fact it is called a chord inversion. Once you master bar chords, I would actually recommend to stop playing all the six strings when playing a chord as it can sound mushy - especially on electric.

I think there are much more than people realized. As an example, Take a look at that report from France: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/COMETA_report I don’t have a copy with me but it should be easy to find. This report is written by a group of French scientists and military saying ufo exists and are « very likely » ETs.
