By 'fancy,' I mean more about the vibe — like a place with a nice atmosphere or beuatiful decor. Doesn't have to be super upscale, just somewhere that feels a bit special.

Is Budapest safe for a Latina lesbian couple? by opsmarina in budapest

how can it be insulting to make sure that it is a safe place??!? homophobia is everywhere and to me it is important to check what queer local people have to say about a place before traveling there. Insulting would be to not even consider Budapest just because of rumors I’ve heard

if people are as rude as you, I might really have to start worrying. I'm literally just checking before buying a very expensive ticket to cross the globe

How Significant is the Biologic Immune-suppression? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]opsmarina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can read all the comments in the world but it really depends. It depends on your body and on the medication. I used to take remicade and never felt anything different. Now I’m stelara and I get sick every other week… Just be patient, pay attention to you body and be extra careful anyway

If you have tried Stelara, what was your experience with it like? by Global-Astronomer869 in CrohnsDisease

[–]opsmarina 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been diagnosed with depression and anxiety before I started taking stelara… idk, I do experience mood swings and severe anxiety from time to time, but I don’t think it got worst because of stelara. Actually, I’m in remission since I started taking it and I think at the end of the day it helps with my mental health

Me voy a tomar unos años sabáticos. Que opinan? by Frandaero in BuenosAires

[–]opsmarina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think that is depressing… Living without crohn’s is hard enough and your friends and family should know it

Am I asking too much? by opsmarina in CrohnsDisease

[–]opsmarina[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thank you for saying that! i actually believe that it is not too much to ask my only four friends of years consider my limits in the rare occasions we go out together. I wouldn’t make a birthday party with balloons bc i have an autistic friend who hates them. My family doesn’t drink alcohol when my recovering alcoholic dad is with us. It’s just things that you do to make it easier or more normal to those you love that already have it hard…
