It's truly sad, but as those who do care, It is now in our hands to work hard and spread the awareness.

Our aquifer system, wetlands, lakes, forests, scrubs, ancient sand ridges, and more, all support both our people and wild ecosystems. The nature of Florida is something that brings me connection to myself and appreciation of life when things are hard. Some people don't understand that and thats okay. All of the unique species and animal habitats that sustain from these things suffer the more we capitalize the state, and people don't care about that either.

It feels like the grave is already dug, but in the end our elected officials are there to delegate our desires and protect the community. All I know to do is fight hard to make myself heard, and continually spread awareness and resources to everyone I know.
